Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse 22.

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the "Tao"
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretation of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching is "The Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings of
Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse 22.

                          Flexible


                      Flexible the being,
                who allows the storms of life
                to simply blow right through.

                 Bending, but not breaking,
                    like the supple palm,
                it remains rooted unto itself.

                   Resilient, yet grounded,
                 the art of flexibility brings,
                awareness and opportunity,
                   to all things possible.

                Trust, a willingness to listen,
                present, without judgement,
           the sage who understands the wisdom
                of letting go....and letting be.

                  Notice the flexible self,
                     and how things flow,
                 simply, and in harmony,
                  with all of the Universe.

                  Releasing fear, anxiety,
                   bow rather than fight.
              Adjusting, adapting and being;
                             Flexible.

                Spring Time at The Masters.

With gratitude I share (below) again my inspired thoughts from
my last years's experience at the Masters in Augusta Georgia.


                         Spring Time at The Masters
                    
                     Historic. Revered. The humble beauty that is;
                                           The Masters.

                   Tranquil, surreal, the quiet calling of this hallowed place.
                           Gracefully set amongst the towering pines,
                                       a rolling carpet of lush green,
                   the greatest in the game apply their craft to the challenges
                                     of an undulating Georgia terrain.  

                                   This is the beauty of The Masters.        

                              From all over the world they come;
                 Players, patrons, the press, emerge (respectfully) as one,
                             through the shade of a magnolia lane,
                            surrounded by brilliant yellow daffodils,
                              and acres of sweet blooming azaleas.

                               This is the beauty of The Masters.

                     This is a special place....like no other.
           Respect, honour, and tradition grace all who attend,
                  bearing witness to her breathtaking beauty.
      For to walk this most historic property is to sense in spirit,
                  all that has taken place in 75 years before.

                     This is the beauty of The Masters.
    

                  April signals Spring time at Augusta.
    It's haunting call, seeking only the strongest of the chosen few,
             who are prepared to engage in her delicate dance.
    Patience, trust, and belief of self... separate those who truly know,
                that this just might be, that very rare time,
         where late on a magical Sunday afternoon in April,
       a hard fought, and battled tested soul, comes to covet,
                               a single green jacket,
              and change the life of one very fortunate man;
                                        Forever.

                    This is the beauty of The Masters.

                                        
I have just had the incredible good fortune of personally experiencing,
this most unique opportunity of;
Living. The Masters. Inspired.

Through the serendipitous workings of the Universe I am (gratefully)
about to embark on the opportunity to actually Live a life long dream.
As a self-confessed golf nut, my passion for this most humbling game,
started way back at the tender age of fourteen. Over the years my love
for the game has taken me to many places around the globe,
and I have been blessed by all the opportunities that the world of golf has
presented to me. Now, after years of imagining it, I am on the eve of
stepping into one of golf's most hallowed...and storied grounds. 

The Augusta National Golf Club is home to one of sport's greatest
spectacles. The glorious magnolias, the sweet Georgia pines, and the
brilliant blooms of the azaleas, signal that (once again) Spring, and
The Masters, is in the air. The best in the game gather each year, all
with a dream to become one of the immortal few, who will don the
coveted green jacket.... and secure their honourable place in golf's infamy. 

The history, the drama, the incredible beauty that is Spring time at
The Masters, is like no other. I look forward to this as much as anything
I have ever done, and will be (enthusiastically) sharing, my many Inspired 
experiences, upon my return next week. Until then.....

                                 Paradox


                   Elusive, intangible and formless;
                   The paradox that is..."The Way."
                       Vague, dark and obscure,
                   Yet clear, in spirit, it breathes Life
                    and is...the essence of all things.


                   Everything we know has a beginning,
        but what is that beginning, and where does it come from?
                Known, yet unknown, drawn to the mystery,
                    to the depths of the inner self, we seek;
                            what is, our real truth within.


                             Know that all creation,
             the invisible formless energy which blooms,
          from nothingness to something, nameless to named
           and formless to formed... is the ever-living paradox
                             of Divinity and Virtue.

by how much more at ease,
