Doing the Tao. Now.

"Being. Small."

I am practicing "Being Small" in my world.
By leaving only small footprints, I am able to make a bigger difference.

Things I experience as the biggest of difficulties,
I try and solve in the smallest and simplest of ways.

I challenge myself to break my challenges down.
And manage them (only) by small steps... One at a time.

The biggest of efforts, reduced...
When accomplished in small, manageable and easy ways.

I feel my energy increase, my procrastination minimized,
when I act in small, clear, and positive steps...
Moving forward by;
Being Small.

In humble gratitude.

Doing The Tao. Now.

"Quiet. Mind."

I quiet my noisy mind.
Feeling the emptiness and becoming full.

From the darkness of this now empty place,
comes the infinite possibilities of a brilliant light.

In this sense of calm, serene and quiet silence,
I feel at peace, clear, connected, and as one.

For deep within my silent mind,
comes the ability to allow for anything and every - thing.

The manifest of all the creativity that is available to me;
Through my beautifully;
Quiet. Mind.

In humble gratitude.

Doing the Tao. Now.

"Experience - Connected - Oneness"

Today I am feeling very connected,
to the vast oneness of every - thing.

I am seeing so clearly, all that is present,
and so beautifully (and naturally) connected to it's self.

A seamless, and effortless togetherness,
of universe, spirit, and peaceful energy.

The striking reality of all of life connected to it's source.
A truth spoken softly to all of those who hear, and know, all of Life... as one.

It is where I came from, where I am now, and where I will go.
A forever journey of first steps, with no endings, and only beginnings.

That soulful, heart-ful place where I feel (only) an awakened sense to a personal,
Experience of Connected Oneness.

In humble gratitude.

Doing the Tao. Now.

"Being the Observer."

I am practicing "Being the Observer."
I am observing myself through my own eyes.
Observing how I act, how I react, how I am,
and how I deal with opportunities in my daily life.

I am observing my patience, my slow and deep breathing;
My ability to keep things quiet, soft, open, and in balance.
I am observing "Life" in perspective, simple, free,
and as it should be.

I am observing the incredible magnificence of Nature,
all of her beauty, her power, and her purpose..
I observe nothing intended, only allowed, and it is perfect in it's
effortless execution.

I am observing what is right here in front of me, here and present.
And I choose (not) to focus on what was behind, or in front, or not yet here.
For the future only unfolds as I am observing myself in this moment.
And in the next, and the next.

I am observing myself detached from outcome, judgment and conflict.
I am at peace.  My heart is full. Clear. And I am grateful.
A beautiful "connected" sense of oneness.
"Being the Observer."

In humble gratitude.

Keep The Fire...

There's a river in the
Evening's ember glow,
And you're wishing you could see
How far it flows.

Rolling on to an endless sea
You'd be well on your way,
If you could only set sail.

But dreams can drift away
And sails can fill with doubt,
Where's your vision
If the embers flicker out?

Don't let it slip from view
The horizons are waiting,
Your river is fading...

So keep the fire burning tonight
See just what comes into sight,
Don't take forever,
Take it through the night.

And believe the sun
Will rise with the dawn,
That's all you need to go on
But for tonight,
Just keep the fire burning bright.

I will never need to ask
What have I done?
Comes a moment when it's clear
There's only one.

Oh, whatever you need of me
I've made up my mind,
I'll give you more than you asked for.

And there are those who can foresee
Where we will go,
All the future
I don't really want to know;

Only that you'll be here with me
While the embers still glow,
We'll be safe until tomorrow..

So keep the fire burning tonight
See just what comes into sight,
Don't take forever,
Just take it through the night.

And believe the sun
Will rise with the dawn,
That's all you need to go on,
But for tonight,
Just keep the fire burning bright.

Who are you?
Where are you?
You're not alone,
it's so wonderful...

Who are you?
Where are you?
You're not alone,
It's so wonder-full.

So very, very blessed!!
Wonderful news to Share!

Friends,
I am so very pleased and proud to share that my little book
"Interpretations - Poetic Visions of the Tao the Ching"
is now on the shelves, and available at Banyen Books
effective today!
More than a dream come true, and to share the same shelves
as my late great mentor Dr Wayne Dyer, and so many other
famous spiritual writers, (well), it all just feels a bit overwhelming.
It is authored under my first two given names "Raymond Paul"
and the best part about all of this is that my proceeds from the sales
of my book all go directly to Canuck Place Children's Hospice.
My sincerest thanks to Banyen Books for all of their support,
and for taking a chance on me.
Barney Books is located at 3608 West 4th Ave. (or) online at
www.banyen.com

So very, very blessed!!
Thank you!.. Thank you!!.. Thank you!!!
