Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse 65.

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the 
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the "Tao"
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretation of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching is "The Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings of
Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse 65.

Simple.

Learn to keep things Simple,
and nature will lead the way.
Look for extraordinary,
in the Simplest patterns of common and ordinary.

Guide, and be guided,
by admitting you don't know.
There is Simplicity and respect, 
in finding your own way.

Stay Simple and humble,
and allow truth into life.
A symbol of strength lives in instinct,
silence, and nature at work.

For to truly understand, be aware, and to grow,
is to come from that place, within your heart;
that is (totally) free, clear, awake, and....
Simple.

Foresight... In the Here and Now.

Act before things exist;
see with Foresight,
and know that it is always,
In the Here and Now.

A building starts with the very first brick;
the job itself (already done),
when the decision is made,
to first begin.

The journey of a thousand miles;
begins with only one step,
attention and care to reach the end,
is only be achieved by seeing a start.

For everything is possible;
right from here,
by being present, awake,
conscious, and looking ahead.

Anticipate and prevent;
before challenges arrive,
Acting before negativity,
and disorder arise.

One step, one moment;
One day at a time.
Scattering the small,
in Foresight...
In the Here and Now.

Less is More.

Less is more,
when dealing with the difficulties in,
"Your Life."

See the value,
in the little things, 
and accomplish more, by doing less.

Keep things simple,
by taking on "Your Challenges,"
while they are still small.

Do not try so hard,
and see the difference, 
as you realize more, by doing less.

Stay in the present,
reduce "Your stress and worry," 
for in this moment...less is more.

Keep things close, and small,
and know that all is manageable,
by shifting to less, and experiencing more.

Change "Your view" of the bigger picture,
and see only what is in front of you today.
Less in this moment... means more in the future.

By staying in the now, and keeping it simple,
comes the biggest rewards.....
Your own belief, and understanding,
that Less,
is "always"...
More.

"The Treasure House"

Open the doors,
to that special place...
Your very own,
"Treasure House."
And see all,
that is right,
and good;
in Yourself,
and in others.

A quiet place,
accessed only in the depths of
Your quiet mind.
Here;
housed beautifully in
"Your imagination,"
lies the secret to peace,
and contentment in
"Your World."

Go there regularly,
whenever you need to,
and take refuge,
in times of hurt, disappointment,
and sadness;
and know,
"Your beautiful self,"
in forgiveness, kindness, and only...
Love.

Reconnect, and allow
Yourself in,
to that place of light,
trust, and belief...
and see it's doors opening,
to a most beautiful,
and sacred space,
where there is no place,
for judgement, fear, anxiety, or angst.

Elevate, Your spirit in,
"Your Treasure House,"
and take comfort in,
Your knowing,
that it is always available,
in that perfect space,
within the quiet and meditative mind:
of Your very own...
"Treasure House.

Live. Inspired. is a collection of my own creation. It speaks to "how" I have been choosing to live my life each day. A conversation with, and for myself actually. When my true inspirations are attached to that which I intend, I feel the Universe "opening up" to a whole new world of abundance, opportunity, and discovery. And by sharing my inspirations here with you...it makes me feel good too!

What is the Fix?

What is the fix,
for this fix I am in.
Being stronger, and better, 
and extending my chin!

Perhaps I'm expecting, 
just a little too much.
Beating myself up,
and hurting... and such. 

My mistakes have been many,
for that I'm not proud.
But forgiveness is love,
and I'll shout that out loud!

Sometimes it's hard, 
all the "lost"... and the ache.
There even are days,
where it's all I can take.

I know I'm not perfect,
most certainly not.
But when the season is right,
I'll give it all that I've got!

I know that I'm blessed,
in so many ways.
So for now (in this moment),
my heart (peacefully) stays.

I know that the good stuff,
is well on it's way.
I look forward to it's arrival,
more and more each day.

So what is the answer,
to this fix that I am in?
It's patience and trust,
'til I'm ready to begin!

                 My Prayer of Love and Forgiveness

                               Give me strength
                                       when I feel loss, 
                                   sadness, and uncertainty.
                                      Allow me to search
                                         within my heart,
                             and know the light of forgiveness,
                                            for myself,
                                         and for others;
                           for our hearts do not mean to harm.

                                          Forgive me
                                         when I falter,
                                       fall, or disappoint.
                              And nurture me with only peace,
                                  calm, and understanding.
                                          Release me
                              from the burdens of my mistakes,
                                          and free me
                              from the depths of my despair.

                                           Let me see
                                       and experience,
                            only the joy, beauty, and kindness
                                 in everyone, and every thing;
                                   for this life...."my life,"
                                          is very short;
                                  And there is only time
                               for this precious "gift" of life,
                                           and love...
                                              and
                                         Forgiveness.

     Husband, father, neighbour and friend.
     Another life, called....(seemingly).... far too soon.
     We are grateful for the gift of "your" life.

                "Remain Low"

                     Stoop,
                             and
                       -remain low-
                 like the mighty ocean,
                        powerful
                             and
                             free.

                     Quietly observe,
                              and
                         -remain low-
                     feeling the energy,
                         of humility, 
                         and stillness 
                            within.

                          Stay calm,
                              and
                         -remain low-
                     sense the strength,
   like the water that simply flows "downstream"
                              and
                           settles in.

                          Be patient,
                               and
                         -remain low-
                         lean into life,
                 forever trusting, believing,
                                and
                        Remaining Low.
