Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse 61.

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the "Tao"
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretation of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching is "The Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings of
Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse 61.

                "Remain Low"

                     Stoop,
                             and
                       -remain low-
                 like the mighty ocean,
                        powerful
                             and
                             free.

                     Quietly observe,
                              and
                         -remain low-
                     feeling the energy,
                         of humility,
                         and stillness
                            within.

                          Stay calm,
                              and
                         -remain low-
                     sense the strength,
like the water that simply flows "downstream"
                              and
                           settles in.

                          Be patient,
                               and
                         -remain low-
                         lean into life,
                 forever trusting, believing,
                                and
                        Remaining Low.

                       Without Evil.

                             Choose
                                 to
                               Live,
                             with no
                             thoughts,
                              words,
                                 or
                              actions;
                                 of
                                Evil
                                 in,
                           your world...
                             Immune
                                 to
                              hatred,
                                and
                           Without Evil.

                              Remain
                                 free
                                  of
                               feelings
                                  of
                           defensiveness,
                             negativity,
                                  or
                           wrong doing;
                                 and
                              only be,
                           from a place,
                                  of
                                 love,
                             awareness,
                                  and
                                 light...
                            Without Evil.

                                Change
                               your view,
                                     of
                                   hurt
                                     or
                                   harm,
                                    and
                                  replace
                                judgement;
                                with simple
                                  acts of,
                                 kindness,
                                compassion,
                                     and
                                cooperation...
                               Without Evil.

                                    Stay
                                  centred,
                                  inwardly;
                                      in
                                  balance,
                                    and in
                                  harmony,
                                     with
                               all your heart
                                      and
                                     soul.
                                     Live
                                     only,
                              with all the love,
                                   respect,
                                     and
                           pure consciousness;
                                    that exits,
                                   from deep
                                     within...
                                 Without Evil.

Live. Inspired. is a collection of my own creation. It speaks to "how" I have been choosing to live my life each day. A conversation with, and for myself actually. When my true inspirations are attached to that which I intend, I feel the Universe "opening up" to a whole new world of abundance, opportunity, and discovery. And by sharing my inspirations here with you...it makes me feel good too!

Live. Chicago. Inspired.

So very blessed, and fortunate to see one of my all
time favourite rock (and soul) bands Chicago, live
(outdoors) here in beautiful Maui. The concert was
held at the Maui Arts and Cultural Centre... very intimate,
and the boys can still bring it!.... LOVE those horns!!
While they all may be getting a little older, their incredible
music never does!
So many wonderful memories, on a perfect Hawaiian night.
A little lonely... but at least I didn't embarrass anyone, other
than myself, with my singing at the top of my lungs, and
dancing in the aisles. Below is a youtube version of one
of my all-time favourites... Aloha!

Live. The Law of Choices. Inspired.

We are both burdened and blessed by
the great responsibility of free will-
                               the power of choice.
Our future is determined, in large part,
by the choices we make now.
We cannot always control our circumstances,
but we can and do choose
                       our response to whatever arises.
                       Reclaiming the power of choice,
                                we find the courage
to live fully in the world.

This very powerful and meaningful message is shared,
by "choice" and in gratitude from the book "The Laws of Spirit,"
by Dan Millman.

Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse 59.

In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse 59.

                       Moderation

                  Serve yourself,
                             and Nature
                                 with
                               respect,
                             self-control,
                                 thrift
                                  and
                             Moderation.

                             Give away,
                                 ideals,
                              the wants
                              and needs,
                                  and
                              live simply
                             in happiness,
                                  and
                              Moderation.

                            Gather virtue,
                          where everything
                                    is
                               possible,
                                   and
                                believe,
                              in the secret,
                                 that is,
                                 healthy
                               Moderation.

                               Harmony,
                                   and
                                balance
                                abound,
                                   and
                                   the
                                  only,
                              clear result,
                                    of
                              conscious
                             Moderation.

                                Know,
                               no limits,
                              give away
                                 more,
                             and interfere
                                   less,
                                  when
                                  living,
                                believing,
                                    and
                                 trusting,
                                in the true
                                   spirit,
                                     of
                                  joyful
                               Moderation.

Verse 58.

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,

                          Untroubled

                      Untroubled,
                                the heart
                           that simply knows;
                                content,
                              and stable
                                it  purely
                                 flows.

                               Untroubled,
                                 the world
                          becomes totally clear;
                                 wholeness
                                   replaces
                               all doubt and
                                      fear.

                                Untroubled,
                                  the fortunes
                             both bad and good;
                                    reveals
                                the paradox
                                  of life as it
                                    should.

                                  Untroubled,
                                   the master
                            lives honest and true;
                                     leans in
                                      on life
                             as the right thing to
                                          do.
                                 "Untroubled."

Live. The Law of Action. Inspired.

"No matter what we feel or know,
no matter what our potential gifts or talents,
only actions bring them to life.
             Many of us understand concepts,
such as commitment, courage, and love,
but we truly know only when we can do.
                 Doing leads to understanding,
and action turns knowledge into wisdom."

                     You can't cross the sea
merely by staring at the water.
                     -Rabindranath Tagore

"It takes more than dreams and good intentions to live
in this world; it takes action.
This world is a realm of energy and action; no matter
what you know or who you are - no matter how many
books you have read or what your talents - only actions
bring potential to life.
It's easy to speak about commitment, courage, and love,
but doing is understanding, and wisdom grows out of practice.
Taking action has never been easy in this world; forces of
doubt and inertia are everywhere, even within our mind
and body. Turning ideas into action requires energy, sacrifice,
courage, and heart, because to act is to risk.
The Law of Action delivers the same message again and again:
It's better to do what is best than not do it and have a good excuse.
All living beings act, but most people react - and only when
compelled by pain or fear.
The Law of Action teaches us to overcome both inertia and
impatience by acting out of courage, clear intention, and commitment."

This timely and powerful lesson has been taught to me now...
(when the student is ready the teacher appears)....
from the book "The Laws of Spirit" by Dan Millman.
