Happy New Year!


               A Setting Sun.


As the sun sets on another year, I am feeling at peace
with the many experiences, and lessons I have learned
over the past year. With the setting sun, comes the darkness
of reflection... and meditation.
Followed by a brilliant light, and the dawn of a new day.
I am grateful for my many blessings.... The beautiful life I have..
together with the many friends, and loved ones, who support me
so very much in my life. So it is, with gratitude, trust, truth and
purpose for 2012, that I would like to share (here) some memorable
sunsets, that I have experienced, (and captured in photographs),
from different places, and various times, over this past year.
They are truly breath-taking... and never get old!

May God keep us, watch over us, and guide us... always..

JANUARY 5, 1930 - DECEMBER 30, 2008.

Today marks the fourth anniversary of my dear Father's
transition from his life here on earth. Father, friend, mentor,
husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, business partner, and all around
special man... who genuinely made a difference. I think of Dad
often, miss him terribly, yet I find myself at peace in the knowledge
that he is in his happy place, at peace himself, and content with his
contribution, his love of life, and the legacy that he has left behind.
I can see him smiling now...That enormous infectious, ear to ear grin,
that always lit up whatever room he was in.
So with special thanks to my sister Jodi, for her inspired love, and her willing
of a very special piece of art called "Memory Heart".. (it is a wire heart,
shown below, that contains literally hundreds of Dad's small personal effects.)
It serves as a wonderful reminder of our beloved Father... and was the source
of inspiration for me to write a poem, a couple of years ago, which I would like
to re-post here today.... and share again, with love...in honour... and in memory
of my Dad.
Continue your rest Dad... "in your happy place"....
May God watch over you....always....

                          Memory Heart         
           Speak to us oh Memory Heart.
       Tell us a story of who You are, where You've gone,
                     and what You have become.

                  So that we will always remember.

           You exist in the stillness of Your heart and soul.
               A warm and peaceful reminder of
                "Our Father Who Art In Heaven."
           Your energy entwined here within Your heart,
              empowered, free, and speaking Your truth.

         Your message of love, and what we have learned
                                   from You.
    Showing us the way, guiding us in spirit, and with love from
                                   Your heart.

            We see health, wealth, and abundance.
                 This is Your truth, and the gifts of
                                        You.

            We hear joy, laughter, and songs of belief

Merry Christmas.

It is that "conscious" time of year where we give thanks for
all our blessings. Family, loved ones, and friends. Those
who are most important to us. The greatest gift of all. It is
also a time to reflect on the many lessons that we have learned
and the dawn of a New Year fills us with a sense of freshness,
and anew. I wish everyone peace, love, and health for the holiday
season.... and for hope, trust, and a beautiful sense of purpose for 2012.

            To trust, believe, and become again...

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the "Tao"
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretation of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching is "The Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings of
Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse 50.

                               Immortal Spirit


                     The Spirit is immortal
                            with only beginnings
                                      and no
                                        end.
                         Those who understand it
                                and do not judge
                    are in balance with it's essence...
                                 and the will to 
                                   comprehend.


                             For the immortal Spirit
                               is infinite in all ways,
                                   essential in it's
                                         being.
                                Where nothing dies,

How do I chose to Live. Today.
How am I Being. Today.
How will I be Inspired. Today.

I am,
a human Being...
much more so, 
than a human doing in, 
"My Life."
I am, 
a spirit Being...
much more so, 
than this physical vessel called, 
"My Body,"
which I inhabit in, 
this world.
I am,
a feeling Being,
and feel deeply connected to,
"My Universe."
I notice,
the energy,
that I attract into,
"My Being,"
and feel,
a wonderful warmth,
and sense of peace,
when I am aligned with,
"My True Being."
I am,
a connected Being,
and am conscious,
and aware,
of who I am,
when I am at one with,
"My Beingness."
I recognize,
that I feel different now...
Like a new,
and more delicious wine,
in an old bottle....
I have changed.
I Live.
more aware of,
"My Being."

This noticing, quiet, low,
peaceful, beautiful, soulful,

Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse 46.

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the 
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the "Tao"
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretation of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching is "The Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings of
Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of 
Verse 46.  


                                 At Peace


         Discover a more peaceful way of success
                            and live... at peace.
                         Content alone, is enough
                              to live... at peace.


         Change your view of the world you've known
                            and live... at peace.
               Recognize the disease of wanting more
                            and live... at peace.


                    Seek tranquility within your life
                             and live... at peace.
                   Practice gratitude and satisfaction
                              and live... at peace.


                  Invite it's magical energy to freely flow
                              and live... at peace.
                       Become one with your nature,
                     in harmony... conscious... authentic...
                                   and at peace.

I am working on,

I am blessed by all,

and realize,

is too much more,

I am aware,
that at any time,
"My Ego,"
says that I do not have Enough,
that I must pause,
and reflect,
on how much really is...
Enough.
I am proud of,
"My Accomplishments,"
so far in,
"My Life,"
and am content Enough in,
"My World,"
as it is.
If there is anything,
that I have not yet done Enough,
it would be to become,
more aware of,
"My True Self."
This I could never do Enough.

                       Look Beyond


                        Look beyond
               and view the world with new eyes.
                   See through the superficial
  to a place of stillness, tranquility...the home of the wise.


                               Look beyond
                at what exists only on the surface.
                 Beyond judgement and appearance
     to invisibleness, perfection... the true sense of purpose.


                                Look beyond
                   the perceptions of imperfection.
                      and truly feel deep within
           the beauty that is in every flawless reflection.
                     In all people, places and things
                                   and trust
                                 the paradox
                         that is non-judgemental
                                and that always...
                                 Looks Beyond.
