Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse Seven.

Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the "Tao"
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretation of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching "The Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings
of Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse Seven.

                                         Selfless.

Living selflessly, a feeling of connectedness;
Loved, and grateful... For life.
Living, giving, extending to others;
Returning, fulfilled, and rewarded,
unto themselves.
Not a race, of win-or-lose,
rather a "way"... of being.
Through selfless actions that serve, and give;
without attachment, expectation,
or need of return.
Beautiful selfless Self,
reveres all it needs, through,
heart's of peace, love, and understanding.
Simply by it's own actions,
it loves, and gives, (all) it's unselfish energy.
See the indelible impression it makes,
like the sole of a single footprint, in a beach of sand,
gently washed aback, to the oncoming tide.
Grateful, for it's existence, gone but not forgotten;
Appreciated, for it's selfless place,
revealing power, understanding,
the grace of giving...and receiving.
It's ultimate connection, to the eternal... Tao.
Acting, moments... selfless. Feeling, moments...selfless.
Giving selfless, and seeing the beauty, that is fulfillment;
Giving back. Beautifully.

Live. Inspired.
