Living The Wisdom of The Tao.
Verse 44.
Through the inspirations of my spiritual mentor Dr. Wayne Dyer,
I have undertaken this year, (as he did in 2006), the teachings of the
eighty-one verses of the "Tao Te Ching." Legend says that the Tao,
(pronounced "Dao") was written by the prophet "Lao-tzu" some five
hundred years before the birth of Christ. The interpretations of the words
Tao is "The Way" Te is "The Shape and Power" and Ching is "the Book."
It has been called "one of the profoundest books in world philosophy."
For my references I have been studying the interpretations and teachings of
Dr. Dyer from his book "Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life."
In the spirit of Eagle Eye, here is my inspired (poetic) interpretation of
Verse 44.

                 Striving... and never Arriving

                 Know when, enough is enough.
                 When who you are, is more than what you own.
                         When striving... is never arriving.

                              Know, that what you gain;
                   Goes far beyond (the troubles) of what you lose.
                          Where striving... is never arriving.

                           Change, the priorities of your life.
                   Update the view, from your window of importance.
                           Where striving... is never arriving.

                        Let go, the cling, to fame and possessions.
                      Releasing the attachment, to a non-connection.
                            Where striving... is never arriving.

                      Shift, the importance of success and "things."
                      The exhausting journey, of demanding more.
                             Where striving... is never arriving.

                     Become conscious, and stop, the senseless chase.
                        The wearing out, of health, and well being.
                              Where striving... is never arriving.

                          Give more, and ask of nothing in return.
                         Prioritize your relationship, with yourself.
               And watch the difference, as striving... and never arriving;
                                          Quietly Disappears.

Live. Inspired.
